“We work closely with the community of Everett through partnerships and several events. Finding health insurance can be overwhelming, and there’s a huge number that are not covered. A lot of people don’t have the confidence to get what they need and the healthcare field is confusing to just about everyone.  But we sit with them, figure out their needs, and get them through it.”

Nicole Graffam is the Executive Director for the Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett (JCCHCE), a Massachusetts Health Connector Navigator organization which enrolls low and moderate income people in health insurance plans.

The JCCHCE promotes health and wellness, serving a predominantly immigrant community, assisting over 10,000 people per year.

A mother of two, Nicole has worked on many health initiatives that promote family togetherness with health and fitness, such as the city-wide Everett Walking School Bus Program, Kids United by Service (KUBS), Energize Everett’s Family Fitness Nights, the Everett Farmers Market and Parent University.

She is also a Steering Committee member of Everett Community Health Partnership.
