Glenn “Doc” Rivers enters his fifth season as head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. In his 18th season as an NBA head coach, Rivers led the team to a 51-31 (.622) record in 2016-17 and the fourth-seed in the NBA Playoffs. The NBA Coach of the Month for April 2017, Rivers became the winningest head coach in Clippers franchise history, logging his 216th regular season victory with the club in a 125-96 win over the Houston Rockets on April 10th at STAPLES Center. He also recorded his 800th career coaching victory on April 2, 2017 in the Clippers 115-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers at STAPLES Center, becoming the 15th coach in NBA history to record 800 wins.

The 1999-2000 NBA Coach of the Year, Rivers is one of six active NBA head coaches to win an NBA title and owns a lifetime 804-584 (.579) regular season coaching record and a 82-79 (.509) career Playoff record.
